AMA is an architecture studio specialized in the design of masterplans, in projects of urban regeneration and rehabilitation of public spaces and buildings, with particular attention to urban heritage. The activity has also been concentrated for many years in the Middle East with a focus on Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, China, Vietnam and Europe.

Andrea Marenco is the founder of AMA. He graduated in architecture from the University of Genoa, Italy, and holds a Masters in Urban Design & Regeneration from the University of Manchester. He specialized in naturalistic engineering and in 1995 he began his professional career at O.M.I. Architects in Manchester. In 1998 he founded his first professional studio together with other professionals and since 2001 he has been working internationally as a consultant and designer in master planning, urban design, architecture, urban heritage rehabilitation and landscape architecture. Since 2007 he has focused his professional activity in the Middle East and in particular in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Oman.
